West Carroll particiates in the following Federal Projects:

Title IA-Improving Basic Programs Operated by Local Educational Agencies
Title IIA-Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting fund
Title VI, Part B, Subpart 2-Rural Education Initiative: Rural and Low-Income Schools

Funds for these programs come directly to the district as formula grants through the Tennessee Department of Education. West Carroll uses all Title IA funds for its two Schoolwide Programs at West Carroll Primary and West Carroll Elementary.

New projects are written in the spring of each year to determine how funds will be spent for each program. Parents and community members are encouraged to provide input on how the funds will be spent. Contact Betty Wallace, Federal Projects Director, or John Cary, Title I Director if you are a member of the West Carroll Community and would like to provide input or have any questions.
