Celebrating Student Success at the Tennessee State BETA Convention

Nashville, TN – West Carroll students represented our community at the Tennessee State BETA Convention in Nashville, held from November 18-25 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Four teams, High School, Junior High, 6th Grade, and Elementary BETA, participated in this annual gathering focused on academic achievement, character, leadership, and service.

The convention gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their skills alongside peers from across the state. Our students participated in a wide range of events, including Engineering, Visual Arts, Marketing, and academic testing.

Many West Carroll students placed in the top five of their categories. These students have now qualified for the National BETA competition this summer.

The Senior High team, consisting of 31 students, brought home an impressive array of awards. West Carroll High School performed well in the academic testing arena, securing multiple 1st Place finishes in History, Social Studies, and Psychology.
